Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Define the most rewarding part of the role?
Answer: Client and candidate satisfaction rank highly amongst our graduate consultants, this continues right the way through to Director level. Negotiating on behalf of our clients to secure them the best candidates for their roles and the best package for our candidates is highly challenging but also incredibly rewarding.
Q: Is recruitment a sales based role?
A: Yes, it's business-to-business sales
Q: What is the working environment like?
A: Highly pressurised, there is a constant buzz of activity. As we have small business teams, the offices are open plan, highly supportive as well as lots of fun.
Q: What do you love about the job?
A: The euphoria of placing candidates into challenging, rewarding careers and achieving targets are evident throughout the whole organisation. In addition, the pride associated with working for such a well-known brand name is also a definite positive.
Q: What are the downsides of the job?
A: We operate in an environment that is target driven and sales-focused, so therefore often work longer hours than for example, people who work in the public sector. However, all managers within the organisation are asked to make the well-being of their staff a priority.
