Senior Pre-Sales Consultant

As the Technical Pre-Sales consultant you will drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process and is an integral member of the Channel and Direct sales teams, working as the key technical advisor and advocate for my client's Unified Email Management (UEM) products.
The ideal candidate must have strong technical aptitude and be well experienced presenting technical solutions and providing technical demonstrations to many different audiences - from technical folk to CEOs. A specific focus for this position will be to minimise the technical risk associated with the implementation of my client for enterprise and upper mid-market customers, or those with non-standard mail infrastructure environments.
• Collaborate with sales resources to address any and all technical concerns during sales cycles. Take ownership of the implementation cycle that ensues for relevant, closed opportunities.
• Collaborate with partners to build pre-sales competencies for my client within the entire sales ecosystem
• Actively and specifically mitigate all technical risks associated with relevant sales to improve sales closure ratios

Who we're looking for
• Demonstrable broad, practical knowledge of ICT technologies and full project life cycle implementation
• Minimum of 2 years customer facing experience
• Industry specific knowledge e.g. cloud based computing and email infrastructures
• Documented experience of giving customer presentations at managerial and director level
• 3-5 years operational experience with Microsoft infrastructure technology including AD and MS Exchange
• Microsoft Email Infrastructure experience (others are beneficial)
• MCSE qualification or similar
• 7 years network architecture experience with LAN/WAN
