IT Storage Specialist-Account Director

As the Account Director in the storage division, you will be selling a full portfolio of IT Hardware and software solutions to Tier 1 accounts. This role encompasses channel management as well as direct end user sales. Your clients will comprise of the TOP 100 companies in Africa.You will be expected to meet revenue, unit and margin targets. Some of your duties will include but not be limited to:
• Implement the clients value proposition using the tools defined by the Adaptive Enterprise
• Apply developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives
• Work on problems/project of diverse complexity and scope
• Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution
• May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process
• Working with key partners (Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, IBM,HP and others) to jointly present solutions based on their hardware/software to selected customers, specifically
- Blade servers
- Clustering and HA solutions
-Storage Solutions and IBM Solutions

Who we're looking for
To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria:
• At least 5-8 years experience in selling IT Storage software at C-level
• You must have sold IBM,EMC,HP or SUN technology
• You must strongly and aggressively drive sales
• High level of knowledge of server technology and storage software
• Directly related work results, including demonstrated success in achieving progressively higher quota.
• Has deep knowledge of basic enhanced products, solution or service offerings as well as competitors' offerings.
• Extensive vertical industry knowledge and advanced degree of selling skills..
• Positive attitude and high energy levels.
• Quick to adapt technical knowledge and to translate into business benefits.
• Ability to work under pressure
• A related degree or qualification
•TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, IT IS CRITICAL THAT YOU HAVE SOLD STORAGE SOFTWARE AT AN ENTERPRISE LEVEL
