TERRITORY SALES REPRESENTATIVE

As the Sales Representative you will be selling complex software solutions into the Financial and Banking sectors.You would need to identify new business prospects for your products and services in Kenya and East African territories.The sales representative would need to up sell and cross sell into existing accounts as this is a huge contributor towards your bottom line. A firm management of these existing relationships with key clients will need to be managed and nurtured as they are key to your future sales opportunities. Your role would encompass a full portfolio of duties and responsibilities such as managing the sales cycle, manage objections and provide solutions, manage invoicing and collection whilst being able to provide immediate information on products and services. A fair amount of new business marketing campaigns within the different regions will need to be conducted on a regular basis in order to maintain brand dominance and market share.

Who we're looking for
• The incumbent must have:
• Proven track record in solution sales in either software, services or hardware
• Proven track record in selling total solutions into the Financial and Banking sectors
• Experience in selling solutions into global markets
• Experience selling Core banking solutions or Banking Risk Solutions would be ideal i.e Risk and compliance, Data-warehousing or Analytics
• Be commercially aware and informed on the changing status of the Financial services and banking sector in the different regions
• Consistent over achievement of targets
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience in local East African markets
• Candidates from a disadvantaged background will be given preference
