As the Key account Manager, you will own the Account on behalf of the region, building relationships and creating the business conditions for sustained growth on the Account. You will develop and implement the sales strategy and plan that will achieve the volume and share targets for the Account. You will drive the sell-in and sell-through of products/propositions on the Account, working closely with the Sales team, Marketing team and Product Marketing in order to achieve business targets. You will be responsible for the sales strategy, utilising the segmentation model and market intelligence, establish the Account customer's requirements, strategy and plans, together with building an understanding of competitors. You must have strong budgeting skills as you will be working closely with the Account to regularly review and develop a jointly agreed forecast, taking into account the key variables, such as the customer requirements, demand pattern, sell through rate, stock levels, marketing activity, road map activity, and the region's business targets, providing necessary challenge and advice, ensuring that sell-out and stock levels are carefully managed and sell through is maximized in line with the business plan. This role encompasses account management at executive level, product management, brand marketing and trade marketing.
Who we're looking for
To be considered for the role, you should meet the following criteria:
• A degree or relevant qualification
• At least 6 years sales experience within Consumer Electronics, or Telecoms - preferably from a mobile vendor or operator background
• Possesses a proven track record of being able to develop an account, continually delivering targets
• Has experience of building and maintain senior level relationships above their own level and exploiting them for business benefit
• Excellent communications and sales skills
• THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THAT YOU HAVE MANAGED THE ACCOUNT OF A NATIONAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS GROUP. IDEALLY YOU SHOULD HAVE SOLD A GSM SOLUTION HOWEVER IF YOU HAVE SOLD A TELCO SOLUTION YOU WILL STILL BE CONSIDERED.
