Compass Business Application Analyst

The overall purpose of the role is to provide Business Analysis and Testing
Your duties will include:
• Develops relationships with client personnel that foster client ties
• Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management
• Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
• Engaging the customer to gather requirements
• Creating functional and technical specifications
• Maintaining Problem Stats
• Regular Management Feedback
• Provide regular feedback regarding issues and risks identified
• Ensuring all requirements have been clearly and concisely documented as well as assist the implementation team in the delivery and roll out of the solution
Assistance with testing and quality assurance
• Provide technical support to business users
• Investigate user concerns, needs, system gaps and development requests
• Review test plans and the test book for each project release before User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Perform and assist with UAT to ensure that errors/bugs and defects where identified, logged and manage accordingly
• Assist and coordinate the resolution of system defects with relevant project stakeholders and business representatives

Who we're looking for
• Min 5 years' experience of business requirements analysis
• At least 3 - 5 years experience with all the phases of Software development life cycle (SDLC) including Documentation, Design, Development, Implementation and Testing
• Strong IT and business operations background
• Experience in the insurance industry would be a distinct advantage
• At least 3 years experience in the Compass Configuration environment
