Human Resources Practitioner - Global Mobility

Responsible for the implementation of the Mobility policies, processes and practices through the day-to-day delivery of employee mobility services across the Group. This includes the co-ordination of all requirements necessary for the expatriation, localisation and repatriation of long-term secondees, ROTAs, Young Engineers in Training, Short Term Assignees, extended business travellers and intra-country relocations, the consultation with affected parties, preparation for the assignment, and management of all logistics, HR administration and employee records for the duration of the assignment.

• Interpret assignment policies and provide expert guidance to affected parties.
• Coordinating and administering short-term and long-term expatriation and repatriation assignments for employees. • Interviewing potential candidates for suitability for the expatriation assignment.
• Coordinating with potential candidates their international expatriation assignment through discussion around areas such as salary and administrative details as well as the arrangement of look & see decide visits.
• Arranging medical examination and life assessments, inoculations when required, as well work permit applications.
• Co- ordinating inter cultural training for employees and their families.
• Assisting with application and documentation for transfers (including visa applications) and ensuring costs are reimbursed in line with the Global Rewards Policy.
• Instructing payroll on the relevant data changes required.
• Facilitating and arranging the final logistics for the move, liaising with the employee's family as well as monitoring logistics and service delivery.
• Coordinating and administering the localisation of employees in their host country. This includes the following activities:
• Arranging and overseeing the delivery of the required logistics for localisation of employees including home visits and issuing of relevant documentation regarding new agreements reached with the employee as well as attaining all necessary approvals.
• Overseeing the delivery of appointed service providers in home and host countries.
• Proactively engages with receiving business partners and senior leadership assignees to generate fit-for-purpose and cost effective solutions for complex assignment cases within group Mobility policies

Who we're looking for
Capable of providing full HR support to expatriates and repatriates, country to country moves by managing all long term and short term expat processes within the group globally and ensuring compliance with all relevant group and country specific regulations and practices.
Qualifications and expertise required:
• B Degree / education in HR Domain

Specific experience required:
• Minimum 3 Years of HR consulting experience (some experience in international jurisdictions will be advantageous)
• Extensive working knowledge within the HR environment and knowledge of legislation within specific jurisdictions as well as in-depth knowledge of applicable policies, regulations and processes.
• Ability to plan in advance, work within a matrix environment, on multiple assignments / repatriations simultaneously, working with internal and external service providers, clients, line managers and HR managers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret policies and assess requests for exceptions.
• Numeric and analytical skills.
• Ability to work within and as part of a multi-functional team.
• Ability to recommend enhancements to processes and policies.
• Ability to work under pressure and be flexible with regard to different requests and demands.
