The Projects Leader will be delivering step change projects facilitation and delivery across the Sub Saharan African region. You will ensure success by owning a specific work stream and managing informal and formal teams to deliver set objectives. A critical requirement will be working closely with external consultants (if need be), business unit resources and the Corporate Marketing & Sales team while managing all relationships. The position is responsible for implementing the fundamental components of the market and sales effectiveness program, managing project risk, meeting the change management requirements and developing / mentoring resources. The Projects Leader will execute deliverables, program resources, budgets, change management, risk mitigation plans, program methodologies & tools and organisational competency improvement.
Other duties in this role include: Deliver the assigned work streams in the SSA marketing & sales effectiveness transformation program
Coordinates strategic and tactical direction with Regional Director and sales transformation team
Works closely with leadership, functional managers and other BU project teams
Project resource planning, financial administration and risk mitigation
Methodology and tool integration for project execution
Owns aspects of project communications and change management
Presentations to the steering team and updates to project sponsors and corporate
Develops standards, procedures and policies to ensure the initiative is maintained according to the acceptable level of quality
Works to meet revenue recognition, margin, cost and customer satisfaction targets
Corporate budget management and monitoring
Monthly sales dashboard analysis
Travel can be up to a maximum of 50% depending on the projects assigned to.
Who we're looking for
To be considered for this role, you should meet the criteria below:
• A minimum of 5 years experience in various roles and level with a customer centric mindset, with strong preference to Sales and Marketing bias
• Master in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent preferable
• Proven project management experience<BR>• International experience advantageous
YOU MUST HAVE WORKED IN A PROJECT SALES TYPE OF ENVIRONMENT WHERE YOU WOULD HAVE SOLD A PORTFOLIO OF PRODUCTS OR SERVICES. YOU MUST HAVE WORKED ON MULTI MILLION RAND PROJECTS
