• Acts as the IT Business Relationship Manager for the sub-Regional Business Team
• Participates in Business strategy development. Proactively introduces innovation ideas and concepts. Translates the business IT needs into an evergreen sub-Regional IT Solutions Roadmap
• Sponsors and influences the adoption and resourcing of priority programs
• Maintains strong relationships with global IT Solution Strategy and Service Delivery Organisations to be fully familiar with Standard Portfolio offerings available to the business and providing regional 'Voice of Customer' needs to help shape future IT offerings
• Maintains a close understanding of emerging technologies and solutions that could add superior business value.
• Provide strong Enterprise Business Process competency and lead the development and continuous improvement of simplified and Digitised business process to support high velocity business growth
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with regional service providers
• Provides leadership for priority initiatives. Engages with the business teams to capture business needs and ensure organizational readiness, including the management of change. Work with delivery teams and service providers to effectively structure solution delivery projects
Who we're looking for
Education Qualifications & Years of Experience required:
• 8 years of experience, of which minimum 3 have been in a Business / IT relationship and strategy development role in a Regional or Global environment
• Tertiary education to Bachelor or Masters level in an Information Systems / related qualification
Minimum Skills Required:
• Proven business acumen in a regional / global environment with specific experience of sub-Sahara Africa
• Demonstrated business & IT innovation
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
• Track record in IT strategy development and proven track record of sponsoring and launching roadmap programs
• Experience with IT solutions and Application development methodologies and Lifecycle management processes
• Building sustainable customer relationships
