The successful individual will be required to fulfil the following,
• Manage key stakeholder relationships and requirements with IB head, Group head of Planning and Group head of Financial Reporting
• Strategic development of the IB MI to ensure that the unit becomes a strategic business partner with key stakeholders and remain a relevant function catering for changing business needs.
• Identify and build on synergies between the different functions within finance.
• Compilation of Management Information that includes, but not limited to the following
o Income statement, balance sheet, margin returns, and gap analyses;
o Financial budgets and forecasts
o Detailed analyses and provide commentary on:
o Understand inputs and comment on fully loaded reporting (allocations)
o Monthly client and sector analytics and commentary where possible
o Monthly sales pipeline and summarise statistics around these items
• Resolutions of ad hoc financial queries, including being pro-active with regard to identifying business issues through financial analysis
o Formal month end cycle
o Ad hoc intra month requests
• Attract relevant skills for all the technical and reporting units and match these skill sets with requirements of the job, inspire staff and retain the good talent in the unit. Identify all development areas for staff and ensure that they are adequately trained to ensure good delivery and control.

The successful individual must be able to,
• Ability to deal with conflict and multiple pressure drivers and demonstrate abilities to work to deadlines, to work within a fluid environment, reacting to events and juggling multiple work streams and priorities.
• Strong analytical and technical financial skills with the ability to diagnose and apply appropriate techniques to the resolution of financial and business issues
• Easily adapt to learning new systems such as TM1, CRT and Sales force.com
• Adopt and manage changes in various reporting requirements, while maintainingand ensuring alignment across products
• Strong communication and report writing skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles
• Work as part of a team while proactively and independently servicing a client
• Ability to work to deadlines, and effectively prioritise deliverables
• Ensure that the Finance function's professional reputation is maintained
• Skills to enable effective communication with multiple stakeholders to continuously build credibility of the area
• Performance Management Skills
• CA (SA) with 5 years post article experience, or equivalent or equivalent work related experience<BR>• Product knowledge would be an advantage.
