Senior Project Manager

The incumbent will be responsible for managing all aspects of a moderately complex information technology project or multiple, medium scale IT projects from original concept through final implementation and has overall responsibility for ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of new and enhanced business capabilities.
Responsibilities include:
• Responsible for the end-to-end management of (large scale) applications related projects and programmes
• Manage multiple projects or a programme
• Share project/program management best practices and project learnings with project team members
• Uses standard program/project management tools and techniques appropriately
• Responsible for project plans, milestones, measures, budgets, team and stakeholder communication, resource and time management
• Defines and establishes appropriate governance structures and processes to drive the program/project
• Forms and manages teams by organising resources and skills effectively against tasks
• Assists the Delivery (Program) Manager in developing effective stakeholder management practices, which is required for successful delivery of the program/project

Who we're looking for

• Proven experience in managing IT programmes and projects
• Experience working within the Financial Management arena
• Undergraduate Degree
• PMI Certification
