Cluster Business Controller - Supply Chain Operations

Key tasks include:
• Provide Cluster operational management with interpretive and predictive financial information on which to make business/investment decisions
• Provide variance analysis vs. budget, last year and outlook. Proactively drive and recommend corrective actions
• Develop and maintain a common business performance scorecard for the Cluster incorporating various performance measurements
• Follow up on approved investments, both actual spend vs. approved levels and business case
• Lead the annual financial planning process for the respective function
• Perform business/profitability analysis at a detailed level, e.g. product profitability
• Ensure common reporting/accounting practices (aligned with FRM) across the Cluster
• Active involvement in respective functional management teams
• Follow up and support CL SCO to optimise the total Supply Chain costs (COGS)
• Fulfil regular converting reporting requirements- ie KPI's, XLC
• Follow up on quarterly product costing
• Leader of WCM Cost pillar
• Provide business cases and cash flow analysis for all converting investments. Establish follow up on investments

The successful candidate must:
• Ensure that stock counts are completed by the 1st working day of every month.
• Complete and submit Delivery volumes tothe Market Organisation (TPMO) by the 2nd working day of every month.
• Calculate monthly Packaging Material and Additional material Cost of Sales by the 2nd working day of every month and submit voucher to Finance department.
• Actual XLC costs are completed by the 5th working day of every month.
• KPI report is completed and submitted by the 7th working day of every month. KPI analyzed against target and last year.
• Consolidated SSA cluster KPI analysis sent
• Quarterly XLC submitted toConverting by the 5th working day.
• Quarterly Forms 1031 & 1032 submitted to TP Financial Control Department by the 8th working day.
• Complete Statistics South Africa survey forms on time when required.
• Cluster targets according to timetables

Who we're looking for
We are looking for adaptable, assertive individuals with good attention to details and the following:
• 3-6 years in a Cost Controller position in a production environment.
• Good planning and organising skills, business acumen, continued analysis and assessment.
• Attention to detail, accuracy of numbers.
• Excellent communication and computer skills required Exposure to a "matrix' style organization beneficial.
