The successful candidate should have experience in a Marketing Director role and be ready to take the lead of this marketing department and deliver on KPI's from day one.
The key area's of responsibility include the following;
• Develop regional portfolio and brand strategies to form a base for Plans and Budgets and to serve as framework for the definition of local strategies
• Actively participate in the planning process
• Ensure that the general environment is permanently monitored in the region
• Ensuring that full command of corporate marketing and research tools is acquired and that the tools are implemented and used by the marketing and research community
• Identifying good local practices and making sure that they are expanded within the region
• Organizing regional marketing conferences
• Participate in meetings with Brand Owners at regional level and, when needed, at local level
• Ensure that business development opportunities are identified and that appropriate recommendations are made to exploit these opportunities
• Bring about synergies between the regional units in areas such as the production of promotional materials or POS and media planning and buying
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate should;
• Have a Business of Professional Marketing Qualification
• Be PC Literate
• Have a minimum of 9 years experience in Consumer Marketing and Sales
• Come from a FMCG Drinks background
