Themain duties and responsibilitiesof the Senior HR Manager position will be to:
• to effectively implement the HR strategy to support business growth
• manage the corporate payroll department
• review and assist management in the implementation annual performance management processes
• HR data management
• act as subject matter expert with any OD or organisational effectiveness initiatives
• participate in all recruitment and selection initiatives to ensure best practice is implemented
• develop annual training plans and evaluate the effectiveness of training interventions
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
• A relevant tertiary qualification
• At least 7 years experience in all areas of human resources, experience in the mining sector is preferred
• Management experience is essential
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
• Must be able to articulate, develop and implement human resource policies and programmes in a corporate environment, with its associated complexities
• Project management experience will be an added advantage
• An excellent knowledge of relevant legislation (LRA, BCEA, EEA etc)
