The Debt Originator must understand the Capital Markets, conduct extensive marketing, implement legal documentation, list notes on the JSE, sell into the Debt Capital Markets and integrate skill set with other forms of debt financing available in the market.
Overall Objectives:
?h Establish and develop relationships with clients in the listed and unlisted
market
?h Market product set
?h Lead transactions from origination to execution
?h Be at the forefront of product development and roll out
Role Requirements:
?h Full understanding of the Debt Capital Markets.
?h Thorough understanding of the Fixed Income Market.
?h Good corporate and State Owned Enterprise client relationships.
?h Thorough understanding of JSE listing requirements.
?h Legal process regarding the establishment of Domestic Medium Term Note Programmes.
?h Excellent relationships with the wholesale investor base.
?h The ability to cross sell other products the bank has to offer (such as
Interest Rate Swaps).
?h A strong organisational skill to manage external legal, client, banks and
investor requirements.
Who we're looking for
The applicant must be CA (SA) or LLB with:
?h Five years or more relevant experience<BR>?h Strong marketing ability
?h Fully computer literate
