IB Analyst

This IB Analyst role works as a member of the South African IBD team focused on coverage and execution, though he/she will support the origination effort and may, in time, start to assume some responsibility for deal origination.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Primarily involved in execution and marketing activities, including basic responsibilities such as data gathering, analysis and material preparation, as well as taking responsibility for managing standard processes such as preparing deal documentation.
-May act as the key point of contact for clients in the context of a particular area of a transaction.
-Support senior managers in origination activities (e.g. preparing pitch books or modelling potential deals).
-May identify cross-product ideas, building effective cross-business area relationships and sharing information, which facilitates business development.

Who we're looking for
-A Graduate and have excellent results at matric level or equivalent
-Some post qualification experience, preferably in investment banking, but not essential
-Previous related sector experience beneficial
-You have a track record of success in your academic and professional life - this is a MUST
-You possess excellent interpersonal skills, are energetic and committed and have proven team working ability
