Finance Manager

Logistics and Distribution

Cape Town

Permanent ⁄ R350000 - R375000

Based in Cape Town, the finance manager will be responsible for financial management, monthly reporting into corporate, third party relations (supplier, customer & audit) and general business commercial support. You will implement the policy, procedures and controls, change systems and meet internal and external reporting requirements.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

o Initiative

o Qualified Accountant (ACMA/ACCA or equivalent)
o Qualified by Experience & Finalist (ACMA/ACCA or equivalent)
o Advanced knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel
o Leadership and Coaching ability
o Able to adjust pace of work as deadlines demand

o Experience of SME multi-site international sales driven organisation
o Knowledge of current reporting environment particularly IFRS
o Evidence of strong financial controls
o Evidence of Working Capital and cash management
o Achievement of objectives via liaison with overseas colleagues
o Achieving objectives via communication with non financial teams
o Experienced in the Management Accounting arena.
o Liaison with external auditors and tax consultants
o Reporting using complex Excel models.
