The role entails the following:
• Development of category / portfolio / brand strategy - factoring in profit maps and category and brand maps (e.g. segmentation, needs assessment)
• Brand Growth Strategy - development of BGS; from market insights + human and aligned to Corporate Vision.
• Financial & Economic Analytics - demonstrated capacity to manage a P&L, manage the growth and value levers, set a financial growth strategy, connect system market execution to economics.
• Deliver the company's category volume growth
• Responsible for Brand and Portfolio P & L
• Lead the team capability development: set development priorities, enable the capability building to happen via formal and on the job experiences, assess progress across the team
Who we're looking for
The following are required:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 10-12 years brand marketing experience in a FMCG or equivalent environment.
• Consumer / brand building, trade understanding, operations.
• Strategic Thinking, rigour and commercial acumen.
• Strong understanding of economic and value analysis
