Responsibilities of the Analyst - Corporates include:
· Preparation of analytical rating committee presentations and reports, based on direct access to issuer senior management as well as on public information.
· Presentation to internal rating committees
· Analytical work includes initiating and maintaining coverage for a portfolio of rated issuers as well as producing planned and ad hoc corporate sector research publications.
It is important that individuals are able to work independently while also being good team players and able to cope with time pressure and deadlines, happy to travel (up to 10% of working time) and adapt to a multi-cultural environment.
Who we're looking for
Knowledge/Experience:
This position requires applicants to have at least 3 years' experience in a corporate credit analytical role within a commercial or investment bank, fund manager other financial institution. Familiarity with fixed income markets would be an advantage. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good verbal and written presentational skills. Theyrequire a balance of good numeracy, analytical ability and skills in writing concise, fluent English.
Qualifications:
The successful applicant will be a graduate. A professional qualification in accounting or financial analysis (e.g. CFA) would be an advantage.
