The Export Co-ordinator to be based in the Cape Town commercial office will be responsible for the following;
• Follow up of orders as from day 0 until the order is dispatched and the process is completed with the sending of the export documents and assuring that the internal lead times are complied
• Revision of proformas (prices, quantities, descriptions)
• Sales & Stock analysis, Ordering management, Credit Controlling
• Liaison between Export Manager & Marketing team in Chile when information is requested by clients: bottle shots, marketing campaigns, tasting notes, press releases.
• Market Study and continuous search for new opportunities.
• Seek for distribution opportunities in countries where VCT Africa currently has no presence
• Internal processes study and continuous search of opportunities to maximize efficiency and reduce costs
• Promote VCT brands to Media and Trade through Wine Fairs, Wine Tastings, Interviews, etc.
• Full knowledge of the company's products, competitive environment & the different markets within the area
Who we're looking for
As Export Co-ordinator, the ideal candidate should have a business related degree as well as +/- 1 year experience in an FMCG sales environment. This company is looking for someone to grow and develop within their company. This position therefore offers great growth potential for the right candidate.
Other requirements are as follows;
Graduated from Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or similar.
- No experience or limited working experience (< 1 year) in Beverage Alcohol industry, ideally in the wine industry.
- Languages: Full English and ideally French & Portuguese
- Based in Cape Town or surrounding areas.
