The position supports the Senior Manager IM Systems Development in delivering appropriate Application project and portfolio management services in accordance with my clients strategic plan. The Project Support Manager- Applications is responsible for the effective management and delivery of projects undertaken in my client's IM division and the management of outsource partners/suppliers associated with the delivery of the projects.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure delivery of projects (Schedule, Budget, Quality)
• Ensure regular project reviews and management structure for accountability (project teams, stakeholders and suppliers) is in place
• Ensure project risk assessments are completed. Escalate issues, risks and non-compliance to relevant governance forums
• Alignment to the IM portfolio
Who we're looking for
• Accredited Project Management qualification
• BCom/ BSc or IT Diploma
• Previous Project Management experience in applications, process control, quality systems, plant maintenance etc.
• Previous mining systems experience ideal, e.g. miming planning
