This role designs and implements the internal processes required for strategy development, and ensures business alignment and implementation. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through other managers and their teams over periods of 5 years.
• Ensures continuous communication of the strategic direction to the business.
• Owns and drives Distribution key strategic projects initiated by Distribution Leadership/Board.
• Designs and implements strategies focusing on internal processes and ensures alignment and implementation within distribution function.
• Create and document a coherent Distribution Strategy and story, and ensure alignment with strategy and business plans.
• Facilitates, proposes and sets up the strategic methodology for the Distribution function.
• Works with Strategy office and Distribution to drive strategy process and facilitate real understanding of the direction chosen.
• Facilitates acceptance of and commitment to the Distribution strategic goals.
• Coordinates efforts of the Distribution leadership to link strategies and tactics of individual areas
• Supports the possible merger and acquisition initiatives.
• Ensures tactical initiation of strategy by focusing on internal processes.
• Drives the strategy process into the business by working with the business unit EXCO and business leaders to facilitate understanding of the direction chosen.
Who we're looking for
Required:
Post grad degree (CA/ Masters/ MBA).
Experience in a strategy role in a Financial Services Environment is essential.
