HR Manager

Reporting into the Operations Director, the purpose of this role is to act as business partner responsible for all human resource activities within the factory including but not limited to recruitment, labour relations, personnel administration, trainingand employees deployment. The main areas of responsibility will include:
• providing factory management with effective tools for personnel development
• coordinate the recruitment and selection process to fulfil the factory's positions
• coordinate and compensation and benefits related items ensuring that remuneration is aligned with local and global policies
• ensure effective management of the HR budget and ensuring optimal headcount in line with factory production plans
• act as company representative with regards to industrial relations and actively engage with the unions and state authorities
• provide HR advisory service to management

Who we're looking for
Our ideal candidate must ideally have experience within an international FMCG organisation, and must also possess the following:
• a relevant degree in HR or a related field
• a minimum of 5 years HR generalist experience, 1 of which must have been at a managerial level
• experience in a factory environment
• excellent knowledge in industrial relations

Soft skills required:
• excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
• high work ethic
• ability to engage with and motivate staff
• ability to work under pressure and deliver on time
• good business acumen
