Electrical Supervisor

• Oversee maintenance and repairs of electrical equipments
• Condition monitoring of all equipments
• Proactively identify improvements to eliminate breakdowns
• Oversee and sign off safety, injury, hazard, risk and incident reports
• Ensure all work orders are signed off •Administration completed and communicated
• Planned maintenance schedules and ad-hoc reports completed and communicated
• Oversee and execute the procurement of equipments and spares
• Manage own team's performance
• Recruit and select employees
• Manage employee relations
• Train and develop employees
• Maintain relations with internal customers to ensure departmental needs are met and colleagues are satisfied
• Provide relevant and specialized technical support to applicable stakeholders
• Enhance safety awareness throughout working area
• Drive safety initiatives adopted by the department
• Engage in the Safety Improvement Plan of the department
• Drive zero harm in the section.

Who we're looking for
• N3 and Trade Test
• Foreman/Supervisory certificate
• 2 years experience as a winder electrician
• 5 years Electrical/Mechanical experience in Mining Industry of which at least 2 years should be on Supervisory level
• Knowledge and experience of CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems)
• Proven track record of achievements, especially in Safety and Preventative Maintenance
• Budgeting and Costs Management
• Experience in handling and managing Contractors
• Knowledge and application of SHREQ procedures and practices
• Computer literacy at skilled level
• A valid code B driver's license
• A valid certificate of fitness
