In this business critical role, you will be accountable for Business to Business sales within the complex food manufacturing industry, specifically in food additives and application solutions across the UAE and further within the MENA region. You will be fully versed with chocolate products, understanding your target customers needs and be able to confidently offer solutions to technical experts in their field.
In addition you will be looking to bring your experience to optimise performance and lead change across people, process, quality and technology to achieve world's best practice.
Finally you will be responsible for setting business goals and timelines in-line with annual plans, utilising all internal / external stakeholders relationships.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will be
Academically qualified within food technology and business administration.
General knowledge of production methods within the food industries, such as confectionery, bakery, dairy, ice cream etc. Should be able to apply products and applications to these industries.
Offer solutions, including suggesting recipes, specifications, manufacturing instructions and application advice.
Good understanding of raw materials involved in chocolate products and their functionality.
Knowledge of the agri commodity markets including procurement and ultimately its effect on the customers.
Track record in business development through continuous innovation, working closely with the Product Development and Quality Assurance teams to insure that the organization is valued as a reliable and credible industrial supplier within the MENA region.
