MANAGING DIRECTOR

Supply Chain services

Libya - Tripoli

As the head of a key strategic subsidiary you will report directly to the Chairman of the Board in France, and be accountable for the oversight of all aspects of day-to-day operations which will include financial, operational, developmental and infrastructural issues.
Furthermore, the Managing Director will be responsible for:
- Defining and developing the strategic plan of the company in Libya within the Oil & Gas industry;
- Leading key strategic negotiations with key partners and administrative bodies;
- Overseeing and strengthening the companies' financial position in regards to turnover, margin, profitability, and return on investment;
- Implementing and optimizing logistics and organizational techniques to coordinate various work sites;
- Overseeing the budget and annual financial reporting metrics to be reported to European headquarters.

Who we're looking for
The Managing Director will be the holder of a university diploma along with at least 10 years of significant experience in an operational management role in the Supply Chain/Oil & Gas industry. At ease in a hand-on environment and comfortable leading executive level negotiations, the managing director will be charismatic, and posses a proven ability to establish excellent working relationships with existing and prospective clients. A first experience, preferably in Africa, or in an emerging economy is strongly desirable. Fluent English is required.
