Marketing and Communications Manager - Private Banking

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide input into the PC marketing and communication strategies and translate them into annual marketing and communications plans for PC South Africa in line with the business strategies and budgets.
• Develop comprehensive operating plans for each marketing activity from the creative briefing of communications specialists, through to implementation (to the appropriate target audience via the most appropriate channels/ media) in South Africa.
 Responsible for project managing the execution of all marketing and communications activities as determined in consultation with business, from brief to implementation.
• Required to concurrently manage a number of briefs through communications projects/events.
• Co-ordinate and managing supplier contracts per project/event ensuring that outputs are delivered to specification, on time and within budget
• Ensuring that a seamless communication process occurs for all stakeholders (business units and suppliers) throughout all project
• Responsible for ensuring that the Private Clients' messages are conveyed in the best possible manner to the target audiences in South Africa but aligned and in line with brand strategy for maximum success.
• Assist in managing a marketing budget of R12 million for Private Clients South Africa, in alignment with Private Clients International/Africa budgets of R10 million.
• Benchmark current practice to market/competitors
• Build and enhance sound working relationships between PC, country and marketing/communications to deliver on business objectives.
• Develop an awareness of all business developments within Private Clients and all organisational changes that may impact on the marketing and communications' function
• Proactively solicit Marketing and Communication content from Private Clients
• Development of a marketing and communications calendar in-line with allocated budget.
• Development and execution of marketing initiatives in consultation with business.
• Co-ordinate and report on the PC marketing and communication activities in South Africa.
• Keep abreast of competitive best practice
• Build sound relationships between Private Clients and Marketing
• Provide regular feedback to key stakeholders throughout marketing and communication projects
• Reports into Marketing and Communication Manager: Private

Who we're looking for
The following skills are required:
• Matric and relevant Degree or Diploma
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Marketing and Communication Manager
• Track record in converting organisational knowledge and target audience insights into executable communication plans
• Must come from private banking
• Must have managed a budget of over R12 Million
