As Marketing Communications Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
• Work collaboratively with a diverse staff team to create and manage cross-organisational, integrated marketing strategies and tactical campaigns.
• Coordinate communications projects with vendors and contractors for the development and production of educational event promotional materials, web site production and other collateral.
• Provide writing and editing support / guidance for all outbound communication including all promotional materials, website content and a monthly.
• Serve as internal liaison to the other departments and staff resources.
• To manage the individuals and functions within the marketing communications team and ensure that maximum benefit is gained within the given resources of head count and budgets.
• The development and implementation of a marketing strategy that is consistent with the overall business objectives, short and long term strategy and to ensure that this strategy is shared with, and supported by the marketing team in their everyday efforts.
• To ensure that the marketing team is geared around driving sales efforts through the creation of competitive offers that are promoted in an innovative and effective manner, and that the operational issues that are involved in this process are taken into account.
• To ensure that the meaningful and sufficient sales analysis is conducted to ensure that the sale-driven marketing effort is measured and corrected quickly if required.
• To assist in ensuring that the general relationship with the distribution channels are productive and professional.
• To build relationships with the network operators, handset manufacturers, and other suppliers to ensure that maximum benefit can be obtained in negotiations, and that the achievement of organisational objectives are fulfilled through these relationships.
• Full management responsibilities relating to the advertising, PR and promotional agencies and advertising budgets, including the responsibility to ensure that relevant recoveries are realised.
• To ensure that sufficient analysis is affected on our subscriber base, thereby allowing an understanding of the cellular consumer, ensuring that correct marketing related decisions are implemented and that products and services are successfully launched and achieve required penetration levels
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in marketing with a minimum of 5 years marketing and communication experience at a senior level. A proven track record in establishing brands and effective communication. The successful candidate will have a true passion for marketing preferably with experience in the telecommunication industry.
