Job Purpose:
Support and contribute to the overall advancement of strategic business decision making specifically focussed on the bank's Group marketing, by providing value added business insights, recommendations and strategic input derived from high quality and appropriate analysis of competitive and environmental information and secondary marketing research.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver value-added, actionable insights and recommendations to business units based on analysis of secondary data and information sources.
•Provide on-going competitor and environmental information and strategic analysis to teams in Group Corporate Services and Business Units.
•Responsibility for guiding the development of an integrated Marketing knowledge management strategy.
•Guiding the development and maintenance of systems and databases to record and extract marketing information efficiently and effectively.
•Develop and implement a marketing measurement dashboard for all cross border (Group) activities and key geographies including design of reporting framework and on-going collation of relevant information.
•Identifying problems, opportunities and/or gaps through analysis of secondary and existing primary research.
•Lead the Competitive Intelligence team.
• Number of direct reports two.
Who we're looking for
Qualifications and skills required:
• Minimum requirement would be a Bachelor degree, majors should be in marketing, social sciences, psychology, research methodologies, statistics or consumer behaviour.
• Approximately 5 - 7 years experience in a market insights/ intelligence role responsible for researching & analysing market and competitor information.
•Experience in banking, financial services or services would be preferable.
•Experience in information gathering and collation from multiple sources.
•Experience in packaging and presenting information.
•Previous experience leading teams is an advantage
