Working as the senior account manager, you will be based in Johannesburg selling a wide portfolio of Telco products across South Africa.You will be expected to operate at C-Level and continue to strengthen and establish strong relationships with key players.You will predominately be selling into the private sector and a good understanding of of this market will give you preference to this opportunity.You would be expected to grow the brand footprint,maintain existing accounts and manage your successful sales pipeline.You will drive the creation of customer proposals and complex contract negotiations to successful closure, resolving issues with customer and internal groups.As the account manager you will lead the formulation of solutions based on customers business and technology requirements.The advent of selling into the public sector would definitely be a focus once settled into the position.

Who we're looking for
To be considered for this role, you must have a:
• Relevant Degree or related field experience.
• Excellent knowledge of telecommunications products, services and solutions in the mobile fixed line voice and data services industry.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in direct selling and account management at executive level.
• A thorough understanding of the telecommunications industry, challenges faced by operators and associated opportunities to provide solutions.
• A strong network of industry contacts.
• Excellent knowledge on Intelligent networks, Wireless networks,Core Networks,SMS,Entrance,VAS and Transmission.
• The ability to adapt and work in a culturally strong eastern environment.
• If you speak Chinese you would have a distinctive advantage against the other candidates.
ONLY CANDIDATES WHO HAVE SOLD THE REQUIRED PRODUCT SKILL SET OF SOLUTIONS TO LARGE CORPORATES WITHIN THE PUBLIC SECTOR WITHIN SOUTH AFRICA WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION.
