• Responsible for the overall financial control of the business unit, ensuring compliance
• Monthly business analysis
• Assist in preparation of board reports
• Liaise and co-operate with central finance and internal and external auditors
• Ultimate responsibility for the smooth running of the budget process including CAPEX
• Report variances to budget, the revenue and expenses of the business unit, enlisting the support and co-operation of all managers
• Supervision of the preparation & analysis of management accounts and the review of general ledger reconciliations
• set up & maintain appropriate financial controls and procedures for the business unit
• Business trend analysis
Who we're looking for
• CA Qualified
• Insurance industry experience is preferable
• Experience in a management role
