Consultant: Structured Commodity Finance

To actively market Structured Trade Finance product solutions to the South African and African commodity market in order to increase market share in the financing of structured commodity transactions. The following functions will be required:
• Active marketing, networking through strategic relationships both internal and external in order to achieve acceptable return on capital employed
• Create shareholder wealth through growing profitability of the portfolio by identifying new and existing customer potential including sales opportunities and new product initiatives
• Continuously review, improve and amend relevant templates and process
• Networking and relationship building, negotiating and closing structured commodity finance deals with local and global corporate and commercial clients
• Conduct product promotion visits to all major business centres in order to promote the commodity finance product offering
• Assist with deal implementation and deal structuring
• Risk and Control, ensure own compliance with agreed templates; financial model, credit applications, term sheet
• Remain up to date with regulatory, tax and accounting developments in order to ensure compliance with these areas in finalising a funding solution
Who we're looking for
Bachelors degree, Commerce or Finance
Extensive experience in Structured Trade Finance
General banking experience and exposurein STF products
Experience with trading
